Your Podcast Marketing Plan

The idea of relationship marketing, connecting, creating business systems through networking to remove constraints, and bring on board what you need to grow through vertical and lateral team building is central to what we’re doing at The Podcast Marketing Center. It is what we see as the essence of podcast marketing. It’s also what we are naturally so good at – Creating great concepts for our clients.

Sometimes creativity comes in the form of a challenge. Today was no different: Rich Schefren ran a contest – First prize is spending a day with him, his Porsche and meeting with Agora to work out the constraints in your business.

Anyhow – Rich’s challenge was this:

“Summarize why it’s critical that your business has a consistent series of back end offers and why it’s important that you build alliances within your marketplace….”

Here’s what I see:

Business Growth = Systems – Constraints = Wealth

A consistent series of back end offers is the culmination of a well designed business system: It possesses minimum friction and constraint – It is your “fulcrum” to the exponential leverage of wealth; Equally necessary and vibrant alliances are the “lever” matching message to marketplace – When properly harnessed, wealth results. Continual growth in business relies upon harnessing this perpetual motion of wealth, be it capital, skills, or funds into your business coffers without creating friction or constraints.

It is the art of where less, becomes more…

So – do I win the day with Rich ;-)

A new bold journey begins!

Welcome to my blog – Podcast Guru.

You will find here a different set of insights into the world of podcasting and my work with the Podcast Marketing Center (PMC). I hope you’ll enjoy some of the fresh insights I have to offer on how to Record – Share – Connect – Monetize your podcasts for those of you interested in adding podcasting to your marketing efforts. It is well worth the effort.

However, as you will see, as you come back to this blog often, our approach to this form of marketing at PMC is unique, primarily because Scott, Heidi and I have life experiences, idealism and a focused synergy quite uncommon. Had you been recently to The Internet Marketing Main Event II in Baltimore, you would have witnessed some of what we bring to the table, as we combine guerilla journalism, videography, remote location recording, fundamental product launching tactics into a cohesive marketing strategy that we will share with you as it unfolds, so that you may see how to use this fantastic new medium to live any dream you can conceive of, be it a personal goal, or a business one.

In the days to come as you begin to learn more about our adventures as a team and as we move PMC from start-up through initial, rapid and continuous growth, you will have a direct documented model that you can readily adapt to your situation.

We are moving forward at an accelerated trajectory towards enormous profitability as a result of this approach. This comes as no surprise to me. Shortly after meeting Scott in Toronto earlier this year, Heidi and I began podcasting and streaming that podcast for our legal services firm, fathers Resources International on our site at:

http://www.fathers-resources.com/DadCast/tabid/621/Default.aspx
In less than 90 days this podcast made over $35,000.00 in revenue from people picking up the phone, and hiring our services which is a fairly high ticket item. Since that time, one particular client has spent over five figures in a 3 week period. And these are clients from all over the world.

It is important to distinguish that this site is not an e-commerce site, but is merely a brochure site. However in every instance where the podcast has been the trigger for action, the client must pick up the phone and call us. And we don’t even ask them to do that. The potential client feels we are the experts who can solve their problem.

And that’s why they call us. And we do our utmost to solve their problems, quickly and cost effectively.

Now here’s the important part – Divorced Dads is a small niche market, especially in comparison to marketing. So how many subscribers did we have?

Go to:

http://www.podcast-marketing-center.com

and do the sign up to find out. You will be shocked when you listen to our pre-pre launch podcast. In fact it’s not even set up as a podcast yet, because of where we are in our business launch sequence.

Next time….I’ll be giving you some ideas to consider and ponder about your marketing efforts and how podcasting can be one of the most effective low cost viral tools in your marketing arsenal.
